THE GREAT BUZZ OFF EVENT RAISES $1,130 FOR IMPROVED BREAST CANCER SERVICES IN STRATHROY

The Great BUZZ Off event took place on July 21st, 2014 at noon on the main stage at Turkey Fest in Strathroy. This annual community event encourages individuals to cut or shave their hair as a way to raise funds for local charitable organizations.

"We are so grateful to be chosen as one of the fundraising recipients through this incredible community event," says SMGH Foundation CEO, Susan McLean. "Thank you to all those involved, including Nancy Powers, Shannon Churchill, Jill Reynolds from Shear Perfection, and all of the "buzzers" who bravely cut or shaved their head in support of this great cause. All donated funds will be directed towards expanding breast cancer services at SMGH."
